King David was referred to by God “as a man after His own heart.” This was revealed by David seeking the Lord and inquiring His thoughts for many situations and decisions in his life. How can that apply to us? Well, pause and seek God’s heart before you take that loan out or marry that person or begin that business; see if God’s heart is in it. Proverbs 16:3 (AMP) – “Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.”
